Zachary Dylon VanMeter, 23, of Louisville, passed away on October 11, 2015. Zach was born in Louisville on January 9, 1992, the son of Willie VanMeter and Mary Harrell. He enjoyed making people laugh and he spent his spare time at the gym, but his favorite pastime was hanging out with his brothers and many friends.

Zach leaves his father, Willie; mother and step-father, Mary and Jason Harrell; brothers, Willie, Clint, and Cody VanMeter; grandmothers, Jean VanMeter and Mary Sternberg; and several aunts, uncles and extended family.

Funeral ceremony 6:30 pm Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY) with visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service. Zach will be laid to rest at 10:00 am Saturday at Beth Haven Cemetery (9020 Stonestreet Road, Louisville, KY).
