Yvonne Marie (Combs) Markland, 82, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was a member of Tunnel Hill Christian Church.
She was born on July 20, 1939, in New Albany, Indiana, to John and Dorothy (Bowen) Combs. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Markland. Yvonne is survived by her children, Brenda Stumler (Robert), Jeff Markland (Tamara), and Doug Markland (Melanie); and brothers, Mike Combs (Alice) and Clarence Combs.
Cremation was chosen following Yvonne's wishes, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. She will be laid to rest privately with her husband at Edwardsville Cemetery. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
