Riggs Yvonne Jean, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky entered into eternal life on August 24, 2015.
Yvonne was born on July 22, 1935 in Upton, Kentucky to the late Roy and Cliffie Riggs. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Riggs.
She is survived by her children, Gary Dale Riggs Sr., Patricia Ann McQuilling (Don), Deborah Kay Lappin, Sherry Lynette Orr; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and several loving family members.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Yvonne will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
