Yewell Wayne Sparks, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service.
He was born on October 21, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Yewell and Mary (Bowlds) Sparks. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pamela Greer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gina L. Sheehan, step-son, Christopher (Chasity) Sheehan, brother, Richard Lynn (Lisa) Sparks, sister, Lisa (Willie) Cheatham, 5 nephews, Chad DuMont, Christopher Cheatham, Jeremy Greer, Cory Cheatham, Ricky Allen Sparks.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm CST on Monday, at the Resurrection Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, Owensboro, KY.
The family requests that contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
