Akers, Yaeko, 86, passed away on August 10, 2015.
Yaeko was born in Japan on March 20, 1929. She moved to the United States with her husband Curtis Akers who was in the United States Military.
She was loved by all of her friends and family. Yaeko held a special place in the hearts of her Neil Huffman family, and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Visitation in honor of Yaeko will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Lou, KY 40272).
