Woodrow R. Snyder, Sr.

Woodrow Roosevelt "Woody" Snyder, Sr., 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Woody loved working crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and doing body work on cars.

He was born on March 9, 1952, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Harold Snyder and Christine (Daily) Warren. Along with his parents, Woody is preceded in death by his son, Woodrow R. Snyder, Jr.; stepfather, John Warren, Sr.; and brother, Charles Warren.

Woody is survived by his children, Cory Snyder, Zane Snyder, Keana Snyder, and Christina Hochadel; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, John Snyder, Sr., James Snyder, Sr., Shirley Snyder, and John Warren, Jr.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in Woodrow's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
