Woodrow Roosevelt "Woody" Snyder, Jr.

Woodrow Roosevelt "Woody" Snyder, Jr., 44, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. He could be described as a hard worker and a very talented roofer. Woody was a loving father and adored his granddaughter.

He was born on August 7, 1972, in New Albany to Woodrow Snyder, Sr., and Anita (Moody) Rodriguez. Along with his parents, Woody is survived by his children, Lindsey Martinez (Carlos), Ryan Snyder, Cynthia Payton, and Drew Ballard; granddaughter, Mariela; siblings, Christina Hochadel, Lola Snyder, and Rosa Rodriguez; loving aunts and uncles, Jim and Cathy Snyder, John Warren (Sharon), John Snyder, Sr. (Lois); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lucio Rodriguez, Jr.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 11:00 a.m. His Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be private at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in Woody's memory be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
