Winston Clark Fryrear

October 7, 1941 — May 30, 2015

Winston Clark Fryrear, age 73 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Louisville to the late William A. and Mary D. Fryrear. It was there he played football for Valley High School, was a softball umpire and coached football and soccer. Winston was a strong Christian, an active member of Hurstbourne Baptist Church, an Army Veteran, a 32nd Degree Master Mason and a Shriner. He had a big influence on many young people. Winston was a huge Cardinal fan. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David W. Fryrear.

Winston is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie; his daughter, Tina Sivley (Scott); his step-daughter, Kelley Schack (Brian); two grandsons; and his brother Alan (Kathy). He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with service there 11am Friday, June 5, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Hurstbourne Baptist Church.
