Winifred E. (Balcom) Liddle

Winifred E. "Winnie" (Balcom) Liddle, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Winnie enjoyed her involvement in Community Bible Study. She was a long-time member of Northside Christian Church where she also volunteered her time in the Children's Ministry.

She was born on December 29, 1926, in Bayonne City, New Jersey, to the late Frederick and Mary (Picot) Balcom. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond K. Liddle; and sisters, Rita Sullivan and Dorothy Kimmel.

Winnie is survived by her sons, William Liddle, Gary Liddle, and John Liddle (Sandy); brother, Frederick Balcom, Jr; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Northside Christian Church (4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Cremation was chosen following Winnie's wishes. Winnie's final resting place will be at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura, California.
