Wilma Mirl Johnson, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019.
She was born on July 23, 1924 in Itasca, Texas to Jimmy and Roxie Risen. She is preceded in death by her Brothers, Everett Risen, and Morris Risen, Sisters, Mary Helen Risen, and Lilly Mae Carter, Daughter, Rosalind Darlene Johnson.
Wilma is survived by her loving Husband of 51 years, Dewey Johnson, Son, James L. Risen. Brothers, William Risen, Woodson Risen, and Henry Risen, Sister, Elizabeth Matney, and a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm E.S.T. (12:00 C.S.T.) on Friday, at Old Jock Cemetery, Bee Spring, KY, with burial to follow.
