Wilma Jean Philpott, age 81 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Philpott, Sr.; son, James A. Philpott, Jr.; 4 sisters and a brother.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Laura A. True (Patrick Thompson); two grandchildren, Jessica True and Daniel True, Sr.; one great-grandchild, Daniel True, Jr.; sister, Martha Merrifield; and her caregiver, Theresa Niccum.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Friday, December 20, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday and after 9:30 am Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Home of the Innocents.
