Wilma M. (Muncy) Gedling, passed away on Tuesday, August 06, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Wilma was born on July 13, 1940 in McKee, Kentucky to the late Russell Muncy & Della (Dunn) Davidson. She was united in marriage to Edward L. Gedling and to this union brought 3 children to bless their home. Wilma always enjoyed going to a yard-sale. She was an amazing cook and loved to bake but her true love was spending time with all of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward L. Gedling; daughter, Becky Lanham (Wayne); son, Mickey Gedling (Kelly); son-in-law, David Broady; grandchildren, Josh, Amanda, Mallory, Cody, Cassidy, Baylee, & David Jr.; and 3 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mellissa Broady; brothers, Walter & Clyde Muncy.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hosparus – Hospice of Southern Indiana (624 E Market St., New Albany, IN 47150).
