Wilma G. Knight

Wilma G. Knight, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center with her family by her side. She was saved at an early age of 13 years old at Glen Lily Church of God. Wilma enjoyed reading her scripture; crafting and cooking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Knight; parents, Charlie and Simmie Wells; son-in-law, Bob Alvey and 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Julia (Patrick) Devore, Leonard (Rita) Knight and Linda Alvey; grandchildren, Dennis, Melissa, Amanda, Kevin, Christopher, Patricia and Cassie; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and a sister.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, (10304 Dixie Highway) from 3pm-8pm and Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 9am-1pm with a celebration of Wilma's life beginning at 1pm with Charles Smith and Mike Knight officiating the service.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
