Wilma Lucille (Duffy) Euless

Wilma Lucille (Duffy) Euless, 95, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Hobart Beech VFW Post 1693, both in New Albany. Wilma loved playing cards and games with her friends at Muir Manor and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was born on May 3, 1923, in Floyd County, Indiana, to the late Gertrude (Farnsley) and George Duffy, Sr. Along with her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her son, Jack V. Rudolph; and siblings, George, Jr., Martha, Jane, Bonnie, and Rheada.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Jayne Cress (Gary); companion, Ed Ackerman; grandchildren, Tony and Lance Rudolph and Jessica Leland; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Julianne Leland and Logan Rudolph; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
