Wilma "Jean" Cheatham, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020.
She was born on July 22, 1929 in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Ovey and Margaret (Buttery) Wilson.
Jean was a Christian, member of First Baptist Fisherville and a retired employee of Jefferson County Public Schools in the accounts payable department.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 69 years, George C. Cheatham, Sr.; sons, Calvin (Sharon) Cheatham, Steve (Cathy) Cheatham; grandchildren, Andrea (Jay) Welch, Shannon Cheatham, Alison (Josh) Phillips, Lindsey Rupe and Alex Cheatham; great-grandchildren, Cameron Rupe, Boyce and Anna Phillips, Justin and Cora Jean Welch.
All services will be private for Jean and she will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Jean's memory be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville, Kentucky.
