Willie L. Foster

Willie L. Foster, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Willie was a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to the races and car shows. He was an avid University of Louisville fan, and loved watching sports. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on October 26, 1946 in Swifttown , Mississippi to Eugene and Rosie (Collins) Foster. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Brother, James Jackson.

Willie is survived by his loving Wife of 38 years, Sandra Martindale Foster, Sons, Willie Foster, Jr., and Eugene Foster, Daughter, Renee Ann Foster, Sisters, Pearlie Johnson of Louisville, Rosie Kimber, Mattie (Leon) Minniefield, and Patricia Goree, all of Mississippi, Brothers, Johnny Foster of Louisville, Rev. Joe L. Jackson, Aaron Jackson, and Adam Jackson, all of Mississippi. Willie also leaves behind to cherish his memory 24 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
