Willie Obie Clardy, 77, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on January 4, 2017. He was born on April 25, 1939, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He lived in Chicago with his two sisters before moving to Indiana to live with his sister Rosie Wilkerson who preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving sister, Mrytle Bailey from Chicago; his long time companion and caregiver, Carolyn Johnson; adopted daughter, Audrey Allgeier (Robert); and adopted sister-in-law, Cassandra Johnson; along with two dear friends, Edgar Powell and Alex Bennett.
His Visitation will be on Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with service to follow at 11:00 a.m. and burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
