William Henry Thornton

William "Henry" Thornton, age 96, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016. He was a member of Breath of Life United Methodist Church for over 18 years, and retired from Louisville Builders. He volunteered delivering meals for senior citizens. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Hattie Belle Davis Thornton; and his parents, William and Jennie Thornton.

Henry is survived by his loving children, James (Fannie), Alex (Johnetta) and Genevia Thornton; daughter-in-law, Mary Thornton; one brother, Donald Thornton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sister-in-laws, Mary Taylor and Fannie King; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 11am-1pm Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with a celebration of Henry's life at 1pm. Burial will be in Berrytown Cemetery.
