William Sparrow

William Michael "Mike" Sparrow, 61, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Mike was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. He was a constant role model to his siblings and a number of young boys who affectionately knew him as "Daddy Mike". He was a member of Southeast Christian Church.

Mike was born in Jeffersonville, IN on May 15, 1954. He is preceded in death by his father, William Earl Sparrow.

Mike is survived by his wife of 20 years, Deborah (Prather) Sparrow; son, Aaron Sparrow; mother, Shirley (Bean) Sparrow; siblings, James Sparrow (Michele), Doug Sparrow, Gary Sparrow (Dena), & Linda Green (Mark); and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 12 to 6 on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
