William Edgar Robinson, Jr.

William Edgar "Junie" Robinson, Jr., age 82 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Veteran of the National Guard. He retired after 50 years of service with Ford. Junie loved being a premier mechanic and working on cars, especially VWs. He had many, many friends, he loved fishing and traveling with his wife Janie. He was an extremely giving and devoted person who loved his family very much. Junie was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jane "Janie" Robinson; and his parents, William Robinson, Sr. and Ann Yocum Robinson.

Junie leaves to cherish is memory his children, son, Gary Robinson; daughters, Trunie Nielsen (Phil) and Tammy Newton (Richard); 3 grandchildren, Elindia Marczewski (Martin), Lindsay Ames (Nick) and Paul Newton; 5 great-grandchildren, Ashton, Viviana, Chase, Chris and Colton; one niece and 3 nephews; and his loving and faithful friend, Lady; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 11am – 6pm on Sunday, May 5, 2019 and after 9:30am Monday, May 6th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. 40243. A celebration of Junie's life will be 11 am Monday, May 6th at the funeral home, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
