William Lee Robertson Sr.

William Lee "Willie" Robertson, Sr., 86, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served during the Korean War. Willie worked as a Plumber for Kuhn & Gibson Plumbing and Heating for 23 years until his retirement.

He was born on May 16, 1932, in Warren County, Kentucky, to the late Elzia and Lucy (Doyle) Robertson. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Tylene (Hale) Robertson; daughter, Mary Tylene Elliott; daughters-in-law, Cathy Robertson, Lynn Robertson, Susan Robertson, and Sonya Robertson; brother, James Robertson; and stepson, Melvin A. Day, Jr.

Willie is survived by his long-time companion, Helen Day; children, Donald Robertson, William "Bill" Robertson, Jr. (Kathy), James Robertson (Carrie), Tommey Robertson (Osonna), and Donna Marie Miller (Donnie); stepchildren, Joyce Caswell and Vickie Brown; brother, Charles Robertson; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with internment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens - East.
