William R. Rhea Sr.

William Richard Rhea Sr. "Bill", 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 2, 2016. He retired from Phillip Morris.

Bill was born on April 6, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Royse and Cumiler Rhea. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lynette Faye; siblings, Cumiler Mae Overton, Linda Denham, Ross Jann Rhea, Monroe Rhea and Bobby Rhea.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon Rhea; children, Michelle Walker, Angela Palummo (Dominic), William Rhea Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon Blair, Ryan Palummo, Nickolas Palummo, Madelynn Rhea, Kelsey Rhea and Preston Rhea; siblings, Mary Christine "Chris" Wilson, Glenn Rhea (Paula), Bud Rhea (Sandy), Joel "Joe" Rhea (Patty); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272).
