William Roger O'neil, Sr., 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
He was born on May 12, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Wade and Geneva (Tindle) O'neil. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley O'neil; daughter, Hope Dunn; brother, Phillip O'neil; sisters, Beverly Botto and Joyce Drury; granddaughter, Brittany O'neil; and grandson, Ronald Shelton, Jr.
Roger is survived by his son, William (Mellisa) O'neil, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Roden; son, Darryl O'neil; son, Richard (Amber) O'neil; daughter, Cheyenne (Deno) Henon; daughter, Rogina (Michael) Blankenship; stepson, Joe Felker; sisters, Jean (Bill) Hutchison and Barbara Taylor; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his canine companion, Willie.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
