William Marvin Nevitt, Jr.

October 21, 1953 — December 21, 2016

William Marvin "Bill" Nevitt, Jr., 63, of Louisville passed away on December 21, 2016. He was a United States Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Bill loved to coach and umpire, he was involved with the Panther Youth Sports and Little League. He enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar.

Bill was survived by his wife, Starr Nevitt; children, Jason Nevitt, Matthew Nevitt and Jonathan Nevitt; sisters, Laverna Edlin, Rose Hoskinson; step-children, Dianna (Brett) Kennedy, Jesse Wisdom, Jill (Brandon) Magruder, Timmy Parker, and Melissa Parker; 25 grandchildren and step-brothers, Lonnie, Ronnie and Danny Miller.

Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Bill's life will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.
