William Earl Lee

March 25, 1933 — February 22, 2020

William Earl Lee, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 22, 2020. He owned and operated Lee's Auto Service and was a member of South Louisville Christian Church. William served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

William was born on March 25, 1933 in Pleasureville, Kentucky to the late Gilbert and Lillian Lee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Toshiko Lee and his sister, Dorothy Delaney; brothers, Bobby Lee and Gilbert Lee.

William is survived by his son, Steven; daughters, Sharon and Shirley and their families; brother, Jimmie Lee; sister-in-law, Lois Lee; and his nieces, Donna Delaney and Bonnie Guinn; nephews, David Delaney and Jerry Lee.

William was a proud grandfather of his three grandsons.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A service to honor the life of William will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in loving memory of William Lee.
