William Baskem King

May 18, 1954 — June 3, 2018

William Baskem "Willie" King, 64, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on June 3, 2018. He was a devout Christian and was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center Minors Lane. Willie loved the Wildcats almost as much as he loved his Kimber 1911 gun.

He was preceded in death by his father, William King; mother, Janet King; brother, Clinton King and step-daughters, Angela and Sande.

Willie is survived by his loving wife, Fronchesca King and her son Eric Harris; son, Michael Wayne Pound; daughter, Debra Pound and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Willie's life will be Friday, June 8, 2018, beginning at 1pm at the chapel of the funeral home.

A graveside service, with full military honors, will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY beginning at 2:30.
