William Grover "Bill" Jenkins, 75, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was the founder of the soccer program at Providence High School and enjoyed photography, fishing, and spending time with his grandson.
Bill was born on April 11, 1943 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Stuart and Dorothy (Grossback) Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy "Dottie" (Wills) Jenkins; son, Greg Jenkins (Cristine); grandson, Kyle Jenkins; siblings, Stuart G. Jenkins and Dorothy (Jenkins) Gardiner; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen in regards to Bill's wishes. Services are pending at this time and will be held by the family at a later date. Newcomer-Southern Indiana Chapel was entrusted with his care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To leave a special message for the family, please click on the "Share Memories" icon at the top of the page.
