William James

William "Bill" James, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Bill enjoyed working on cars, especially his 1987 Monte Carlo. He retired from Allied Ready Mix after many years in the Concrete Business. Bill was a laid back and was a loving and great, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Pappy. He had a big heart, and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on April 1, 1954 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Lewis and Helen (Fraze) James.

Bill is survived by his loving Wife of 39 years, Jennifer James, Son, Billy (Karen) Gaddie, Daughter, Lisa Cunningham, Sisters, Carol (Marvin) Hodge, Tammy (James) Wayne, Grandchildren, Sandra, Kimberly, Kay, Hazlee, Luke, Shana, Kelsey, Adaria, Austin, and Madison; Great Grandchildren, Emma, Skylar, Loui, Hayden, Tristan, and Imojean.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sons, William M James, Louie James, Brother, Jimmy James, Sister, Patricia Bailey, Grandaughter, Nevaeh, and Great Grand Daughter, Alana.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at Cornerstone Community Church (10600 Lower River Road, Louisville, KY 40272). A Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday at the Cornerstone Community Church.
