William Harris, Jr., 59, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was a member of Gilt Edge Baptist Church and worked at New Hope Service, both located in Jeffersonville. William loved music and loved being with family.
He was born on March 15, 1959 in Jeffersonville to Georgia Mae (Garner) and the late William Harris, Sr. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Rufus Clark, Jr.
Along with his mother, William is survived by his siblings, Robert Harris (Linda), Priscilla Harris-Clark, and Veatrice Harris; and nieces and nephews, Hope Harris, Rufus III and I'an Clark, Raymond Collins III, Angelica Kirby, and Dayna and Dominque Witherspoon.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Gilt Edge Baptist Church (1713 Green St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130) and on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. His Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
