William Lee Hackemack

March 3, 1960 — January 3, 2017

William Lee Hackemack, 56, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He enjoyed fishing and looked forward to spending time with his family on Nolin Lake. Bill was also a huge Louisville Cardinals basketball fan.

He was born on March 3, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to William and JoAnn (Woods) Hackemack. Along with his parents, Bill is survived by his wife of 29 years, Becky (Watts) Hackemack; sons, Aaron Hackemack (Hope) and Austin Hackemack; siblings, Steve Hackemack (Cindy), Rick Hackemack (Wanda), and Laura Buchenberger; and grandson, Garrett.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 10:00 a.m. Bill's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenville Cemetery.

Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children (520 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40202).
