William Gordan Timberlake

September 2, 1931 — May 30, 2015

William "Bill" Gordan Timberlake, 83, of Clarksville Indiana was called home on Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was born on September 2,1931 in Sulphur, Indiana to Roy Everett and Stella(Rainey) Timberlake. Bill was a retired firefighter with 22 years of service. He was a member of One Community Church in Clarksville,Indiana, served our country in The United States Army, and enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Orpha Timberlake; siblings, Everett Paul Timberlake, and Martene Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Patricia (Flatt) Timberlake; children, Reginald Timberlake(LouAnn), Connie Wright(Charles J), Kenneth Timberlake(Kathy), Sherry Ogle(Ricky), Roy Timberlake(Wendy), Tawana Hall; step-children, Marsha English, Rhonda Johnson, Glen Keys(Marsha); 38 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 3:30 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Old Union Cemetery in Sulphur, Indiana.
