William "Billy" Henry Glover was born April 29, 1935 in Owensboro Kentucky to Cosvell Glover and Sarah Moore Runner. Billy was a Christian and at the age of eleven was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Most of his adult life Billy worked for Spencer Concrete Company until starting his own company, Concrete Driveway.
Billy loved life and amongst his greatest passions was the love for motorcycles. He was one of the founding members of the Screaming Eagles Motorcycle Club here in Louisville. It was fondly remembered that Billy was a passionate Louisville Cardinal fan in which he watched most games with a devoted nephew that is now deceased, Steve Runner. He enjoyed the company of his close friends J.R., Big John (deceased) and Howard Butler.
Billy was a caring companion, father, friend, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. On Sunday, June 26, 2016 Billy unexpectedly departed this life and leaves to cherish in his memory a loving companion of over 35-years, Alice Summers, his children: Travis "Juan" Bradley, Tawana Hughes, Tracey Washburn, Tara Glover, Anthony Summers, William "Little Bill" Hogue Jr., and Justin Parker; siblings: Thelotha Harrison , Elton Runner Sr. (Betty), Cosvell "Sonny" Glover, Bonnie Glover, Denise Glover, and Bernard Glover; seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family members and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at More Than Conquerors Christian Church, 4600 Cane Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40216 with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service also at the church.
