William Marshall Foster, Sr., a cherished member of the Louisville community, passed away on November 29 2024, at the age of 74. Born on March 22, 1950, in, KY, William led a life marked by unwavering generosity, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to his family and friends.
William was a self-employed business owner, at Foster Water Company, a venture he often described as one of his proudest achievements. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his work were evident to all who knew him.
William was not only a successful businessman but also a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 55 years, Carolyn Foster. William was blessed with his loving family, including his son, William Foster Jr.; his granddaughter, Ashley Foster; his grandson, Anthony Foster; and his granddaughter, April Demar, as well as five soon-to-be-six great-grandchildren.
As a man of many interests, William had a passion for vintage cars, stock car racing which he enjoyed, alongside his dogs and fishing. He dedicated much of his time to running his family company, yet always made space for his friends and family, who held a special place in his heart.
William is survived by his wife Carolyn Foster, son William Foster Jr.,granddaughter Ashley Foster, grandson Anthony Foster, granddaughter April Demar, and five soon-to-be-six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Georgia Foster, father Marshall Foster and brother Donald Foster.
His departure is felt deeply by all, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
