Smith William Dennis "Dee", 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 1, 2015.
Dee was born on August 31, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Louis and Pauline Smith. He served in the Army Special Forces, and received a Bronze Medal of Honor.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Diane "Roby" Smith; son, William Bryan Smith (Pamela); granddaughters, Leah Gayle Pack (Brandon), and Elizabeth Brooke Smith; great-granddaughters, Olivia Belle, and Delilah Mae Pack.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Grace, Praise and Worship Church (1521 Gagel Ave, Louisville, KY 40216), visitation will be from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at the church.
In loving memory of Dee memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
