William David, Hommel, Sr.,age 80, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He was a retired engineer for Naval Ordnance Station in Louisville. Dave was a poet, an artist, and wood carver. His hobbies included traveling and square dancing.
He is survived by his wife Carole of 60 years; a daughter, Karla Spencer (Charles) and son David (Carol); five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, 1-6pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with brief service at 4pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to the KY Humane Society.
