William A. Chapman

William A. "Willy" Chapman, 54, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019. William was a family man first. He dearly loved his grandchildren and was hardly ever seen without his dog Rusty by his side. Willy worked in the tile industry his whole life and went on to own and operate Chapman Tile Service, Inc., in Georgetown for over 25 years. He also loved to hunt and enjoyed working on and building show cars.

He was born on September 5, 1964, in Port, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his Father, William "Eddie" Chapman; Stepfather, Charlie Harris; and Brother-in-law, Eric Lemmon.

William is survived by his loving Wife of 29 years, Karen McCutcheon Chapman; Daughters, Ashley (Tyler) Williams, Kayla (Paul) Kunsman, and Mary Chapman; Mother, Thelma Perdue Harris; Sisters, Lilly Lemmon, Crystal (Raymond) Jena, and Tracy (Jeff) Bauerla; Grandchildren, Grace Williams, Lane Williams, Eli Kunsman, and Blaike Kunsman.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
