William Edward "Bill" Bruce, 85, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a talented ceramic artist.
Bill was born on February 5, 1932 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late William A. and Anna C. (McCaffee) Bruce. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Everett and Charles Bruce.
He is survived by his niece, Betty Mater (Dr. Bruce Mater); great-nephew, Benjamin D. Mater (Lindsey); and great-great niece, Henley Mater.
Cremation was chosen in regards to Bill's wishes. Burial will take place at a later date at the New Albany National Cemetery.
