William Maxwell Brown, beloved husband, father, Pops and friend to many, 83, of Louisville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on October 25, 2021.
Bill was born to Harold and Christine Brown in 1938. He would become the oldest of five brothers, to include Jerry, Jim, Pat and Mike. He served in the United States Air Force and later became a skilled tradesman as a Boilermaker from which he retired. He married Paula Brown in 1964 and they raised their two children, David and Greg. Bill loved and prioritized his family above all else. He especially enjoyed doting over his grandchildren, Emily and Darby. Bill had a full life in which he enjoyed camping, boating, traveling and playing poker with friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife Paula, his parents Harold and Christine Brown and his brothers Jerry Brown and Jim Brown.
He is survived by his sons David Brown (Danielle) and Greg Brown (Kristi); grandchildren, Emily Kellett (Brian) and Darby Brown; brothers, Pat Brown and Mike Brown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A time to share memories of Bill will be at 6:30 that night.
