William L. Brady, Jr.

October 1, 1948 — April 22, 2021

William L. "Bill" Brady, Jr., 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was a United States Army veteran that served his country during the Vietnam War. Bill enjoyed fishing, bowling, and bartending. He was a member of the VFW and loved his dog, Berkley.

He was born on October 1, 1948, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late William, Sr., and Mary (Francis) Brady. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Simone Brady. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Brady (Jennifer) and Jeremy Brady (fiancée, Ondrea Nicholson); grandchildren, Jessica Zibart and Hugo Brady; and best friend, Bobby Ervin.

Cremation was chosen and a reception of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. Burial with military honors will follow at New Albany National Cemetery.
