William Henry Boone

December 11, 1937 — April 11, 2017

William Henry "Bill" Boone, 79, passed away on April, 11, 2017. He was a retired truck driver. Bill lived his life as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was known for his daily visits at local McDonald's sharing a cup of coffee among friends. After suffering a stroke in 2010, Bill went to live with his loving and devoted daughter, Sandra Robertson, until his death.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Boone; parents, Letha and William Boone and siblings, Jackie Boone and Emma Shoats.

Bill is survived by his children, William Henry (Tina) III, Sharon Thomas, Sandra Robertson (John Robertson), Tony Boone and Lisa Boone; grandchildren, Mary, Tiffiny (Ramon), Michelle, William, IV (ShaMara), Corey (Lauree), Tiffany, Jody "Keith", Keahlyn, Courtney, Jade and Juan; 21 great-grandchildren; 1great-great-grandchild and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Bill's life beginning at 1pm.

Repass will be at Shively Community Center, 1902 Park Road, Shively, KY following the funeral service at the funeral home from 2pm-5pm.
