Willard Eugene Mcknight

Willard Eugene McKnight, 72, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. He was a truck driver for over 20 years and was a vendor for the Westward Ho Flea Market for 31 years. Will was a member of the Masonic Falls Lodge #749 F & AM, , the Kosair Shrine Temple in Louisville, and the Sellersburg Moose Lodge #1757. One of Will's proudest accomplishments was that he personally raised over $50,000 for the Kosair Shrine Circus.

Will was born on May 5, 1942 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late James and Pearl (Langston) McKnight. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Staser) McKnight; daughter, Patricia McKnight; and brother, James McKnight.

He is survived by his wife, Sue (VanMeter) McKnight; children, Teresa Carter (Jeff), Melissa McMillin (Kevin), James Bullock (Shevawn), Larry McKnight (Mindy), Annette Cox (David); siblings, Theresa Hardesty (Jamie), Billy McKnight; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany) and on Monday after 11 AM. A Masonic Service will take place Sunday at 2 PM. His Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kosair Shrine Temple for the circus (812 South Second Street, Louisville, KY 40203).
