Willa Marilyn Blaine, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Willa was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for 63 years. She taught Sunday School for 40 years, and was a member of the Missionary Society where she helped usher in the Antioch Prison Ministry. She helped run the Church Nursery and was a member of B.T.U. Willa sang with the Choral Group and on numerous occasions she received requests to sing solo. Willa also attended Vine Street Baptist Church for 25 years where she was a faithful member of the Sunday School Class.

Willa was born on November 28, 1930 in Pembroke, Kentucky to Jimmie D. and Katie Elizabeth (Cager) Bailey. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Jimmie Brown, and Gregory Blaine, and three Siblings.

Willa is survived by her Daughters; Carolyn (Irby) Cotton, Valerie Blaine, and Billie (Michael) Burke, Grandchildren; Ericka Cotton, Essence Silva, Erin Barnhill, LaQueisha Bonds, Montrell Blaine, Kraceta Blaine, Katrina Blaine, Krystal Sales, Gregory Blaine, Jr., Jordan Blaine, and Marchelle Crawford. Willa also leaves behind to cherish her memory 20 Great-Grandchildren, 11 Siblings, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Church Family.

Services will be Private, with a Celebration of Life at a Later Date.
