Wesley Paul Linne passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026, in Statesboro, Georgia. He was born on January 11, 2000, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Wesley was a proud graduate of New Albany High School and worked diligently as a warehouse manager for TrueStone. He was known as a hardworking and honest man with a creative and adventurous spirit. To those who knew and loved him, he was a devoted brother, a loving son to his Ma and Pa, a loyal uncle, and a compassionate friend.
Among the memories his family will hold close is a camping trip to Spring Mill shared with his sisters. On that trip, Alexes got her foot stuck in a creek inside a cave, and Wesley came to her rescue, a moment that has remained a fond and lasting family story. It reflects so much of who he was: dependable, caring, and always ready to help the people he loved.
Wesley leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory always: his ma, Sheila Linne and Kenny; his sisters, Kasey Linne and Jerry, Alexes Linne, Nichole Fischbach, Kelly Epstein and Brian, and Jessica Hubbard; his brother, Sean Sparks; his nieces, MaCayla and Mya; his nephews, Brice and Phoenix; and his faithful companion, Hades. He was preceded in death by his Pa, Ernest Brown; biological parents, Douglas Linne and Paula Linne; and his nephew, Trevor Linne.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 800 6th Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Wesley’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, loyalty, and the kind of steady presence that leaves a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
