Wesley John Means Jr.

Wesley John "Shawn" Means Jr., 25, passed away on October 9, 2015. He renewed his life to Christ which inspired him to change in a short time and allowed him to become closer to his family and God.

He was preceded in death by brother, Rodney Lee Singer; grandmothers, Irish Jeanette Williams and Janice Odell Means; great-grandmother, Ruth Odell Adams; uncles, Adrian Hereford and Robbie Means and great-great uncle, O.B. Stevenson.

He is survived by his son, Wesley John Means III; fiance, Amber Wilkerson; parents, Wesley John Means Sr. and Linette (Kenya)Mays; step-mother, Joni Clack; sibilings, Jasmine Means, Vonchell Williams, Rashawnda and Rashell Singer, Lesley Means, Robert Singer Jr., Johetay Means, Michael Roberson-Crenshaw, Rein Means and baby Means; grandparents, Carl (Denise) Hereford, John (Stella) Means and Donna Kennedy, great-grandmother, Leslie Hereford; nephews, Darrius Williams and Raiden Foshay and a host of aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015, at Emmanuel Baptist Church (3815 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY) from 6pm-9pm and Saturday, 10am-1pm with a celebration of Shawn's life beginning at 1pm.
