Flener, Wesley A. "Poppy" 66 passed away December 17th.
He was a retired Respiratory Therapist with Lincare, formerly a Special Olympics Coach, volunteer at Crestwood Elementary School, a US Navy veteran, a proud traveler with Patch Adams and Group, a member of N.B.R.C. and Crestwood Baptist Church, and a superlative Husband, Father and Friend.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sherry Marlow, daughters, Melissa Dimitri (Stephen) and Tracy Flener and grandson Matthew Wesley Smith.
Memorial ceremony will be held at 3 PM Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr with visitation after 1 PM.
Expressions of sympathy may go to Dreams With Wings, American Diabetes Association, or American Heart Association.
