Warren Norman Lincoln, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Warren was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He was a hard worker and always enjoyed sharing stories of the work he did throughout his life (from the slaughterhouse in Michigan to working for Sharon in Lady Lake). Everyone loved him and honestly how could you not?!!!! He never met a stranger and loved, loved talking to people. He would frequently say he was getting hoarse and losing his voice from talking, yet he wouldn’t stop talking.
He loved his kids so much and was always so proud of each of them. He looked forward to their regular phone conversations.
Warren would frequently, with tears in his eyes, tell stories about his life with his first wife, Marge. He adored her.
He would then go on to talk about the life he and Phyllis had together. And let’s not forget Jake. Jake was his furry side kick for many years whom he loved so so much.
Warren loved sports and could tell stories of different highlights for days (even if you didn’t follow sports). He would say, well, I know you don’t follow sports, but anyway…
If you did follow sports and had that in common with him, well the conversations went on and on.
He also loved yardwork (and begrudgingly would allow you to help only if you insisted). He would say it keeps him moving and he was right.
Warren was a lover of the sun. From living in Florida and always having a dark golden tan that most could only dream of, to living in Louisville and sitting in his back yard sunning, watching UPS planes fly over.
Warren loved to tease people, especially his daughters in law. Candy and Trisha, you know you were both number one daughter-in-law to him.
Warren loved to read and watch westerns and has quite the collection of books.
A void is left in our hearts as we remember and honor Warren. Let’s remember and hold dear to our hearts all the wonderful memories we have of him. We love you and will miss you so much Warren!
