Wandalee Blazina, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021.
She was born on February 2, 1933 in Fort Benning, Georgia to Charles and Allegra (Ward) Stallard. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Diane Ray, grandsons, Duanne Reddoch and Damon Matthew Ray and four siblings. Wandalee will always be remembered for being a avid UK fan, her love of dancing and her enjoyment of Bingo. Wandalee had a dedicated work ethic; she worked for over 12 years for Brown and Williamson, never missing a day of work. She had a heart of gold; volunteering for many years at Hazelwood as a foster grandmother. Wandalee was an amazing and loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Wandalee is survived by her children, Wanda Sue Simmons, Cecil Robert Ray, Jr., Charlotte Yvonne Brady, Arthur Daniel (Dannielle) Ray, Nancy Louise McDonald and David Ray, along with 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
