Wanda Schneidtmiller, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 23, 2018.

She retired from University of Louisville Hospital and was a longtime resident of the Germantown Community. Wanda was an avid lover of animals and provided a home and a meal to anyone in need.

Wanda was born on February 28, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Schneidtmiller, son Casey Schneidtmiller, brother Richie Thomas and mother Wanda L. Thomas.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Joe Schneidtmiller (Carrie), Jerry Lee Schneidtmiller (Mary), daughter, Dana M. Schneidtmiller, grandsons Chris, Chase, Trent and Jerry Lee and granddaughters, Leah, Casey and Maddie. She is also survived by her brother Danny Thomas (Debbie) and many additional family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).

Her funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
