Wanda (Powell) Bryant, 66, of Louisville, passed away on November 29, 2016. Wanda was born in Louisville on August 27, 1950 to the late Clarence and Elnora Young. She worked as a Foster Granny at McFerran Elementary School and was an Usher and longtime member of St. Mark AME Church.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Will Bryant, Sr. and her brother, Gregory Young. She is survived by two daughters, LaTonya Powell and LaKeta Powell; and a host of step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Mark AME Church (1036 Euclid Avenue, Louisville, KY 40208) with a memorial gathering from 10:00 am until time of service.
