Walton Gordon Logsdon Jr.

Walton Gordon Logsdon Jr., age 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. Walton was a devoted UofL sports fan, who enjoyed watching wrestling and traveling. Over the years, he attended many concerts, creating cherished memories through his passion for music. Above all, Walton's greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren with whom he shared a special bond. He was eagerly looking forward to welcoming his soon-to-be granddaughter and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on September 7, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky, Walton was the son of Walton and Margaret (Williams) Logsdon. He is preceded in death by his father, Walton Gordon Logsdon, Sr.; his mother, Margaret Ann Thorpe; his wife, Marscota Bumbalough; and his sister, Brenda Thomas.

Walton is survived by his beloved family, including his children: Mykyll D. (April) Bumbalough, Heather L. (Cameron) Logsdon, and Megan A. (Austin) Logsdon; his cherished grandchildren: Payson Ent, Harlow Bumbalough, and Tessla Bumbalough; and his siblings: Larry (Rita) Logsdon, Beverly (Wayne) Jewel, Darrell Logsdon, Connie (Eric) Anderson, and Michael (John) Pedigo. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will lovingly remember him.

The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday October 12, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Shively Christian Baptist Church (1822 Kendall Ln. 40216).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions in Walton's memory be made to the Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.
